Substituted in the second half Manglenthang Kipgen steered India to defeat Maldives by a solitary goal in the under-20 SAFF championship on Friday at ANFA Complex I Lalitpur, Nepal.
Kipgen executed a 25-yard dazzling left-footer in the 95th minute which stunned Maldives goalkeeper before going into the nets.
India, who beat Bhutan 1-0 in the first game on Monday, finished Group B as table toppers and will face Bangladesh in the semi-final on Monday.
