The visiting team posted 171/9 in 20 overs with contributions from Nitish Rana (42) and Rinku Singh (46). Andre Russell also contributed a healthy 24. Jansen and Natarajan of SRH calimed two wickets each.
When SRH came out to bat Markram (41) and Klaasen (36) contributed good runs. The home team scored fifty within the power play but lost three wickets. The fall of wickets at regular intervals brought the equation for SRH 9 runs needed in the last over. Varun Chavarbarthy bowled a tight spell and conceded only three runs.
