Shami and kuldeep took two wickets each while Siraj took one

Ravindra Jadeja clinched 5 wickets as the spectacular Indian bowling lineup demolished the South African batters to bundle them out for 83 as the hosts won by a resounding 243 runs, keeping their unbeaten run intact.

South Africa got off to a ridiculous start in the 327 chase against India at Eden Garden's in Kolkata on Sunday. Mohammed Siraj took Quinton de Kock's wicket for 5, and Ravindra Jadeja sent Temba Bavuma off for 11 in 19 ball. Mohammed Shami then skillfully swiped Aiden Markram and Rassie van der Dussen's wickets. Jadeja further cleaned up David Miller, Keshav Maharaj and Heinrich Klaasen for 11, 7 and 1 runs respectively. Kuldeep took two more wickets to wrap up the game with a massive win.

Earlier, Virat Kohli powered India to 326/5 with yet another monumental innings on his 35th birthday. He has now equalled Sachin Tendulkar's extraordinary record of 49 ODI centuries. He remained unbeaten on 101 and faced 121 balls in his knock. King Kohli said to the media at the end of their innings, “every match I get to play for India is a great feeling. To celebrate my birthday in front of such a massive crowd is a gift.”

India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat. India was off to a great start with the captain scoring a brisk 24-ball 40. Kagiso Rabada ended the 62 run opening wicket stand between Rohit and Shubman Gill.

Then the Kohli-Iyer maintained their stand which finally ended on 134 off 158 when Iyer fell to Lungi Ngidi on 77 off 87. Suryakumar Yadav then smashed 22 in 14 balls and Ravindra Jadeja then did the same as he stayed unbeaten on 29 off 15.
