The ‘derby’ between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan scheduled to be held at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan on Sunday, 18th August has already been declared abandoned after a meeting between the Durand Cup organizers and the city's administration.

Discussions also took place about the shifting of all the scheduled Durand Cup matches from Kolkata to Jamshedpur.

But it is learned that the other scheduled matches of the ongoing Durand Cup in Kolkata are likely to be continued in the city. 

The reason as it is believed the stadium in Jamshedpur does not have provision for using several cameras for the live telecast of the matches while at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan, several cameras can be utilized for the live telecast.
