Lal Kamal Bhowmik's joining Mamoni & Ashiayana Pathachakra as the coach just a couple of days ago seem to have rejuvenated the team's footballers who were reportedly struggling mentally to come out of the frustration after four consecutive defeats in the ongoing CFL Premier Division league. 

Mamoni & Ashiyana Pathachakra bounced back on Friday at Konnagar, snatching a point from Dalhousie AC with a 1-1 draw. Lal Kamal revealed, "We were leading by Sahil Harijan's goal till the last minute. Karthik Kisku's foul inside the box gifted them the spot-kick. Kisku regretted it a lot. Still, I am happy with the boys' attitude and tenacity to win the match."

The former international added, "I tried to motivate the boys by reminding them of their prestige by giving their best on the field today and they looked inspired." 

Sahil Harijan who scored the goal for Pathachakra was selected man-of-the-match. Sheikh Ezaz Ahmed leveled the scoreline from the spot-kick for Dalhousie AC. Mamoni & Ashiyana will play their next match against FCI.
