Lamine Yamal becomes youngest ever player to score in El Clasico

High on confidence, the Catalan giants entered the game to record a humiliating 4-0 victory over Real Madrid.

It is not Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, but young Spanish sensation Lamine Yamal who wrote his name in the history book on Saturday night. The 17-year-old Spanish forward became the youngest-ever player to score a goal in the El Clasico.

Yamal scored Barcelona’s third goal of the game and brought out the iconic ‘Calma’ celebration to shut out a filled Santiago Bernabeu stadium. The ‘Calma’ celebration earned fame after Cristiano Ronaldo did after scoring a goal against Barcelona.

High on confidence, the Catalan giants entered the game to record a humiliating 4-0 victory over Real Madrid. But Lamine Yamal hogged the limelight after his brilliant goal in the 77th minute.

Ever since his debut last season, Lamine Yamal has been the golden boy for both Spain and Barcelona. And now after winning the Euro 2024 for La Roja, Yamal has etched his name in the fabulous game of football. He has gone ahead of Raul, Gavi, and Ansu Fati to become the youngest scorer in the Real Madrid-Barcelona fixture at the age of 17 years and 106 days.

Not just among men, he has also broken the record in the women’s category as well. For the men’s Alfonso Navarro was the youngest ever to score against Los Blancos at the age of 17 years 356 days. On the other hand, Vicky Lopez scored against Madrid at the age of 17 years 116 days.
