Lucknow Super Giants won easily by 5 wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad.  Lucknow led by spin all-rounder Krunal Pandya, restricted Hyderabad to 121 for eight on Friday. Hyderabad could not open the account so far in this tournament. Bhuvneshwar Kumar's luck did not change even with the arrival of Aiden Markram. Captain Markram had to leave the field with zero runs. Krunal Pandya was the hero of Lucknow's victory in both the matches.

Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 121 runs after winning the toss and losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Anmolpreet Singh scored the most 26 runs for Hyderabad. Abdul Samad played an inning of 21 runs off 10 balls toward the end. Krunal Pandya took 3 wickets with 18 runs for Lucknow. Amit Mishra took 2 wickets for 23 runs. Ravi Bishnoi got a wicket.

In response, Lucknow won by losing 5 wickets. Kyle Meyers and Deepak Hooda lost wickets within 45 runs, but Lucknow had no trouble scoring runs. Rahul's 35 runs from 31 balls and Krunal Pandya's 34 runs from 23 balls ensured the victory in the match.
