While Manchester City is confident about Erling Haaland being happy and settled at Etihad, reports in Spain claimed that the Norwegian Superstar may move to Real Madrid if he gets a chance. It is suggested that his transfer to Bernabeu will be done with a release clause as low as 85 million dollars. 

However Man City is in no panic about losing their top goal scorer.

Los Blancos are also desperate to make a long term contract with Kylian Mbappe after his current contract with PSG expires.

SunSports reported in September that Real is aiming to tie Haaland with a new deal which will make him the best paid player.

Haaland has become the hottest footballer in world football since he moved to City in the summer of 2022 and banged 71 goals. He also owns a property in Spain and his wish to play there is well known. His current employers hope it will not be for the next seven years. 

Haaland was out with injury since December 6 and has just joined his team mates last week for training. As per Pep Guardiola, the Norwegian may miss the trip to Newcastle on Saturday but should be ready to play by the end of the month.
