The India men’s Football team drew 0-0 against Mauritius, in the opening match of the Inter-Continental Cup 2024. The match took place in GMC Balayogi Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday. 

Players from both nations started their attacks. Mauritius’s young midfielder Gabriel Caliste has effectively demonstrated his potential and control over the ball. However, today's match witnessed a lot of long balls from sloppy control over the ball. 

Marquez made two substitutions however the team's underperformance was nowhere near recovery. After half time Chhangte took a few good chances however it was unsuccessful. Some brilliant efforts were seen from the Mauritius team but were ineffective. 

India's first game under their new head coach, Manolo Marquez so far yielded no fruitful results.
