Attacking fifties from Michel Marsh, Marnus Labuschagne, David Warner and Steven Smith propelled Australia to 352 for 7 in the third and final ODI as they look to avoid a clean sweep for the first time against India with a 66-run victory at Rajkot in a bilateral ODI series. In reply to Australia’s 352 for 7 Indian’s innings ended in 286. Jasprit Bumrah although was expensive, scalped 3 for 81 in 10 overs. Kuldeep Yadav earned two wickets while Mohammad Siraj and Prasidh Krishna obtain one wicket each.
Despite the tall score, India did manage to pull things back in the last part, conceding 122 runs in the last 20 overs and just 66 off the last ten after Australia's top order took the bowling unit apart up top.
In reply, Roht Sharma bashed a 57-ball 81 while Virat Kohli scored a more sedate fifty, but the lower middle order failed to get going as India were bowled out for 286 in 49.4 overs.
