Kolkata Football League commenced on Friday as Motua Foundation started its campaign with a 1-0 victory against Milan Chakra at Town Club ground. Sajal Das struck the winner in the 92nd minute. Along with IFA president Ajit Banerjee, secretary Anirban Dutta, vice presidents Saurav Paul and Swarup Biswas, former Indian international footballers Rahim Nabi and Ashok Chanda were present at the ground.
