Heart-throbbing news came forward for the Mohun Bagan Supergiant’s fans when the news of Jason Cummings’s joining their team appeared in an Australian sports website. Born in Scotland, he represented Australia in the Qatar World Cup and played against France as a substitute in the 56th minute, after previously representing Scotland at the youth and senior International level.  
Cummings started his professional carrier with Hibernian FC making 16 appearances and scoring twice in 2013-14. He moved to Nottingham Forest in 2017. In 2022 Cummings signed for the Australian club Central Coast Mariners.
He made his first international appearance for Scotland in 2017 and subsequently made himself available for Australia making his first appearance for them in September 2022. He holds dual citizenship his mother being an Australian lady.  
On the other hand neighbouring club East Bengal is still confused with the current status of the proposed coach Sergio Lobera. Odisha FC is also in talk with him. The source says as long as the Chinese club, where Lobera is associated currently, does not issue the NOC  he cannot move to India. In a press release East Bengal Club  told that Emami management will look after the whole matter and take their decision. Although Odisha FC is in fight with the coach still East Bengal management are very much hopeful with Sergio Lobera.
