Liston Colaco was chosen the man of the match for his second-half blinder
Mohun Bagan Super Giants (MBSG) maintained their four-match winning streak in the ongoing ISL, edging past spirited Jamshedpur FC in a nail-biter by 3-2 at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Armando Sadiku, Liston Colaco, and Kiyan Nasiri scored for the winners while Mohammed Sanan and Steve Ambir reduced the margin for Jamshedpur FC. Both the teams had to play with 10 men as Hector Yuste of MBSG was sent off and TP Rehenesh had to leave the field with a red card.
Both the teams gave their attacking prowess priority, leading to five goals on the night! Liston Colaco was chosen the man of the match for his second-half blinder that gave MBSG the lead for the first time.
The match should be memorable for Kiyan Nassiri as well who scored his maiden ISL goal. Jamshedpur, on the contrary, offered a neck-to-neck battle despite the red card of Rehnesh. They only need to worry about dropping points despite playing good football, as has been the case in the last three games.
