Maziya FC will not get the service of the team's three key men, goalkeeper Hussain Sareef, captain Samooh Ali, and Vojislav Balabanovic.
After a close and chaotic victory against Bengaluru FC at home, Mohun Bagan Super Giants (MBSG) will return to the AFC Cup to play their first home game of the group stage against motivated Maziya FC on Monday at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan.
MBSG, the table topper seems the favourite in this match for obvious reasons although Juan Ferrando is not leaving any stones untouched as he is treating every opponent equally lethal in their way. Dominance is the only key to getting through this AFC Cup South zone, as only one team can qualify from here for the knockout stage.
Juan Ferrando however in the media conference looked quite cautious. He said, "They are a strong side and the battle between us is basically mental. They have improved a lot, especially after winning against Basundhara."
He added saying, “My Fast Eleven depends on players' fitness. Our target is to get 3 points. We are blessed to be playing in this tournament. I'm happy with my team. We focus our team more than opponents." Juan, not disclosing his first eleven for the match, informed it would depend on the footballers' fitness.

Brendon Hamil who also accompanied Juan in the Media conference mentioned MBSG supporters will be their 12th man on Monday at the stadium. He commented, “It is a huge opportunity to play the home match in front of our fans and they are 12th man. Their presence is important and it will motivate us to gain three points.”
Mazia FC coach Milomir Seslija however seemed a little anxious as he will not get the service of the team's three key men, goalkeeper Hussain Sareef, captain Samooh Ali, and Vojislav Balabanovic.
He however commented in the media conference, “Home side always have advantage. But this is not an excuse. You have to be ready for every situation. Mohun Bagan is always a strong side. I watched them in the Odisha Match. We have quality attackers and I believe the attack will be the best defense against such a strong side like Mohun Bagan."
Mazia FC’s key footballer Ibrahim expressed confidence stating, “Mohun Bagan is a strong side but we have faith in us. We are ready.”
