Three times ISL champion Mohun Bagan Super Giants( MBSG) announced the signing o former Brisbane Roar central defender Tom Aldred. On Tuesday 2nd july the green and maroon side announces their new arrival on social media. MBSG had made their deal with this renouned defender for five years. Tom Aldred known for his leadership qualities and solid defensive skills. 

This time MBSG leaves no stone untrned to sign this experienced central defender. With arrival of him, Green and Maroon side’s defence will be looking more impressive than other teams. Not only in Australia, Tom aldred has played in for various clubs in England, Scotland. He began his football journey with English club Carlisle united, where he was the captain youth team. 6 ft 2inch this  English footballer made his most of the appearences for Brisbane Roar. After joining MBSG Tom Aldred express his feeling, “I am delighted to be joining Mohun Bagan Super Giant FC. It will be an honour to wear the green and maroon jersey and I am extremely excited to get started”.

He also added, “My career has taken me to England, Scotland, Australia and now India. I am looking forward to this next step of my journey in representing this incredible club in the ISL and the Asian Champions League and helping the team thrive and compete on all fronts”.

Few days ago MBSG appointed Jose Molina as their head coach. Spanish coach also shared his opinion on this new signing, says, “Tom Aldred is an experienced player to strengthen our defense. He has great physique, forceful and is very aggressive defensively. Tom is a dominator in aerial balls and also has good technique to the build up play”.

Not only defensive skills, Tom Aldred also able to score for his team. He has scored three goals for Brisbane Roars in 104 appearences. Green and Maroon fans are eagerly wait to see how his presence will impact on the team’s performance.
