Mohammedan Sporting clinched their first ISL victory with a 1-0 win over Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai.

Mohammedan Sporting Club took the lead for the game in the 39th minute as Lalremsanga Fanai tapped the ball into the empty net. The match witnessed a miscommunication between Dinliana and goalkeeper Mitra, as Fanai took the opportunity and turned that into a goal.

Mohammedan Sporting continued their attacks and created various opportunities throughout the game. 

However, despite their efforts, both teams were unable to score another goal for the day. 

Alexis Gomez took several chances throughout the day, however he wasn't successful.
