Neymar might be replaced by Salah at Al-Hilal

Since joining Al-Hilal from PSG in 2023 for an outrageous 90 million Euros (98.3million US Dollars), Neymar has only made seven appearances.

Al-Hilal top brass once confessed that roping in Brazilian star Neymar was a 'mistake' and in its aftermath, according to reports from a leading Spanish newspaper, the Saudi premier club wants Liverpool star Mohamed Salah to replace the Brazilian striker as the team’s poster boy.

Since joining Al-Hilal from PSG in 2023 for an outrageous 90 million Euros (98.3million US Dollars), Neymar has only made seven appearances. Due to his injury history, the Brazilian is anticipated to leave when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

AS claims that Al-Hilal has admitted that purchasing the Brazilian was a "mistake" and that they now want Mohammed Salah, the star of Liverpool, to replace Neymar as the team’s new star.

Salah, nearing the end of his Liverpool contract, has stated that talks on his future have not advanced. The Egyptian superstar has long been sought after in Saudi Arabia, and his present circumstances will raise hopes that he may eventually be lured to the Middle East.

Last season the Saudi clubs were ready to break the bank to sign the forward but Liverpool was reluctant to allow the player to leave.

It is now appearing that he could leave for free. In the meantime, Neymar has expressed interest in joining Inter Miami, where he could reunite with former Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Lionel Messi, and Luis Suarez.
