Mohammedan Draw 2-2; The Supporters of Big Three United For a Procession

After Bamiya on 22 August scored the first goal, on 29 August Lalthankima scored the equalizer making it 2-2.

Mohammedan Sporting Club drew 2-2 against Suruchi Sangha FC in the fixture today. Initially interrupted by the rain, it saw a continuation of the second half, in the Naihati Stadium. 

After the match between Mohammedan Sporting and Suruchi Sangha in the CFL Premier Division was abandoned due to the incessant downpour in the Naihati, on Thursday. The match fixture was scheduled for 29th August. The match between the three-time defending champion and Suruchi Sangha broke with 1-2.

Meanwhile, the fans and supporters of Mohammedan Sporting, Mohun Bagan and East Bengal united again in a joint procession through the streets of Kolkata to show their solidarity with the ongoing protest against the rape and murder case in the city. They marched from College Square to Esplanade.
