Unlike the juniors, the seniors couldn't make a comeback! Mumbai City FC defeated Mohammedan Sporting Club 3-0 in a crucial ISL encounter. The match started with Mumbai City pushing the attack, with Bipin Singh leading the charge. He created several opportunities early in the game, but despite his best efforts, he couldn’t find the back of the net.

The breakthrough came in the 72nd minute when an unfortunate own goal by Bora put Mumbai City in the lead. The goal came off a header that deflected off the post and back into the net, giving the opposition no chance to recover. Mohammedan tried to respond but found themselves outmatched.

Lallianzuala Chhangte extended Mumbai’s lead in the 78th minute with a clinical finish, doubling their advantage. With just minutes remaining, Krouma wrapped up the match in the 82nd minute, finishing a fine pass to give Mumbai City a comfortable 3-0 lead.

Despite some promising moments from Mohammedan SC, including a few attempts on goal, they were unable to find a way past Mumbai City’s defence.
