The official news is here and Mohammedan Sporting Club have been declared as the Premier Division Champion of Calcutta Football League this season.

The announcement was made at the Premier and First Division League Committee meeting at the IFA office on Friday. Along with the Championship announcement, it was also announced in the meeting, that Emami East Bengal FC was this year's runners-up.

On the other hand, Calcutta Football Club, West Bengal Police Sporting Club, FCI and Dalhousie AC were relegated to the next tier of the Calcutta Football League.

In addition to this meeting, a meeting of the Player Status Committee was held on this day where the two committee members, IFA Secretary Anirban Dutta, Vice President Sourav Pal, along with Vice Secretary Sufal Ranjan Giri, Nazrul Islam and Rakesh Jhan were present.
