Mohun Bagan continued their venture of having a road named after them by inaugurating ‘Mohun Bagan Avenue’ at Jalpaiguri. The avenue which runs from Ashalata Basu Vidyalaya to Shani Mandir will have the new name now. This is part of the club’s attempt to honor a road with their name in every district of West Bengal. 

Mohun Bagan Avenue was inaugurated today by the club’s general secretary Debashish Dutta.Chairperson and Vice-chairperson, Papia Pal and Saikat Chatterjee respectively, of Jalpaiguri Municipality and Executive members of the Mohun Bagan Athletic club were also present. Numerous supporters also witnessed the ceremony. The club praised the hospitality and arrangement taken by Jalpaiguri Municipality behind naming the avenue.
