Riding on a dominant all-round show, Mohun Bagan Club defeated Barisha Sporting Club by 9 wickets in the quarterfinal match to make their way into the semifinals of the JC Mukherjee Memorial Trophy T20 tournament on Tuesday.

Batting first, Barisha Sporting Club was bundled out for just 90 in 16.5 overs. For Mohun Bagan, Akash Pandey (3-8), Sayan Ghosh (2-4), and Ishan Porel (2-15) were superb with the ball. 

In reply, Mohun Bagan went over the line scoring 91/1 in 8.5 overs, thanks to Sudip Kumar Gharami, who scored a half-century (53).
