After being rescheduled Mohun Bagan vs Railway FC of CFL was set to happen, on Sunday. The Mohun Bagan club took their attacking stance and pulled a memorable 8-1 win against the Railway Football Club, on Sunday. The match took place in Bibhutibhushan Stadium, Barrackpore. 

The previous performances of Mohun Bagan have been disappointing and the light of being in the Super Six table was dull. However, after this majestic win, Mohun Bagan might secure a place. 

Railway FC scored the first goal in 6 minutes and needless to say, the Green Maroon Brigade’s comeback was worthwhile. The first goal was from Serto in 21 minutes. The second goal was from Adil Abdulla in the next two minutes. And the Mohun Bagan didn't have to look back after that. Ravi Bahadur Rana scored the third goal in 31 minutes. Serto secured his second goal of the match from the penalty.

Mohun Bagan was leading by six goals during the break. They added two goals in the second half. Mohun Bagan with the win kept hopes for Super Six qualification.
