Mohun Bagan Win by 3-2 in Tie Breaker Against East Bengal

The goal from East Bengal came from Md. Ashique. And the Mohun Bagan was in the lead again taken by Adeel Abdullah. With the final goal of Ravi Rana, Mohun Bagan won the Chief Minister’s Cup.

For the first time ever the two arch nemesis, Mohun Bagan vs. East Bengal faced each other in the Lucknow ground for the the Chief Ministers Cup 2024 on Monday. The Mohun Bagan club beat East Bengal by 3-2. 

Firstly Mohun Bagan took the lead in 18 minutes against East Bengal 1-0. The first goal was scored by Suhail Bhat. The East Bengal equalised the goal in 71 minutes by Md. Asique. 

After the 1-1 from both of the teams. The penalty shootout started. Mohun Bagan won the match by 3-2 in penalty shootout. East Bengal took the first shot and Tanmay Das missed the shot. Later on, the PV Vishnu missed the net for East Bengal. However, Serto Kom scored for Mohun Bagan. Giving score for EBFC 0 and MBSG 1.
