Bengal speedster Mukesh Kumar showcased an outstanding performance against Zimbabwe in recently concluded T-20 series. He picked up eight wickets in just three matches against Zimbabwe in this five matches T20 series and created a rare record. Mukesh Kumar became second Indian bowler to claim eight wickets in a t-20 bilateral series. This remarkable performance made his way more smother for the upcoming days.

Mukesh also heaped praise Bengal Pro T-20 League after his successful journey against Zimbabwe.  This tournament helped him a lot before this series. He told Parallel Sports, “Bengal Pro T-20 League helped me a lot before this Zimbabwe tour. I practiced hard before BPTL and decided to made an impact here. Even, I did not take break before this tournament and Zimbabwe series. I am very happy with my performance”.

Mukesh Kumar picked up eight wickets against Zimbabwe. He showed his best performance in last match of the series. He took 4 wickets and made way clear for Indian team. He proved that coach and captain’s decision was right.

He told Parallel Sports, “Captain always showed faith on me. He relied on me and gave me chance to bowl three over in power play. He is such a very nice person. After my four wickets haul coach and captain both praised”.

Mukesh Kumar will be one of the key player of Bengal squad for the upcoming Ranji trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
