Mumbai City FC 1-1 Hyderabad FC at full-time

Both the goals in the game were own goals

Mumbai City FC split points with Hyderabad FC with a 1-1 tie in the ongoing ISL match at the Mumbai Football Arena on Saturday.

In the first half of the match both teams remained goalless. MCFC were off to a rocky start as their goalkeeper Phurba Lenchpa recieved red card and was sent off. They also missed the service of Nasser El Khyati due to an injury in the 17th minute. Winger Bipin Singh joined the game as his replacement. Meanwhile Hyderabad showed off their amazing defensive capabilities in the whole first half rendering all off 10-man MCFC's attacks useless.

Hyderabad FC kicked off the second half with gusto as they made their extra-man advantage felt in the attack but their efforts to the goal were unable to find the target. In the 76th minute of the game, HFC's Manoj Mohammed gave Mumbai City a surprise. Greg Stewart crossed the ball for Bipin Singh with wonderful footwork but Manoj found his own net and gave the opponent the all-important lead.

However, a late own goal by Tiri levelled the score for Hyderabad FC. This is only the second goal Hyderabad scored this season.

Mumbai City FC currently occupies the fifth position in the points table with 8 points.
