Tim David smashed three consecutive sixes off the bowling of Jason Holder to register Mumbai Indian’s win over Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium. With 17 runs needed in the final over David wrapped up the innings with three balls to spare. MI made a historic run chase to win the match.  He remained unbeaten scoring 45 in 14 balls. He stitched a crucial 62 runs partnership with Tilak Varma (29*) to guide Mumbai home.  Surya Kumar Yadav (55) made the perfect platform for David after Ishan Kishan and Cameron Green gave a good start for MI adding 62 runs in the second wicket. Rohit (3) again was out cheaply.  
Earlier Rajasthan won the toss and elected to bat. Jaiswal notched his maiden IPL century in 62 balls before being out in the last ball. He started on an attacking note and added 72 runs with Buttler in the opening stand. Rajasthan registered 212/7. Piyush Chawla bagged two and Arshad Khan three wickets for MI.
