Murray will return to the top 50 when new rankings are released.
Former World Number One and three-time Grand Slam Champion Andy Murray won the Aix-en-Provence Challenger in France. This is his first title since 2019.
Murray, now ranked 52, defeated top seed, Tomy Paul 2-6, 6-1,6-2 in the final which was played on a clay court. The 35-year-old Murray is hoping to improve his rank to get a seeded spot at Wimbledon in July.
At the trophy presentation ceremony, Murray said, "Last 18 months have been a bit of a struggle with my game. But my team has been supporting me and trying to make things better for me."
Both Murray and Paul were looking for a crucial time on clay court before the start of the French Open in three weeks.
Murray will return to the top 50 when new rankings are released.
