Nabab sets an example of 'nurturing' his footballers, helps Murmu and Burman obtain the job

Even following Nabab's initiative, United SC has appointed a qualified and experienced English teacher, Biman Chattopadhyay for his footballers to learn the language.

Subrata Murmu, one of United Sports Club's key members is all set to join Indian Railways. Raja Barman, another key man in United Sports FC has also qualified in the recently-held selection trial in Jabbalpur to join Railways with Murmu. The 21-year-old promising striker badly needed a job. Raja Barman was also in a similar condition, struggling to survive the financial crunch.

United Sports SC has several potential footballers who have been scouted by the club's scouting team which comprises the Club's Director, Nabab Bhattacharya himself! Roaming around the districts of Bengal throughout the year, Nabab and his team which also includes dedicated coach Anjan Nath bring up potential footballers for United Sports and this process goes on.

But Nabab does not stop his activities by exploring and registering the potential young boys for the club only. He nurtures them in a true sense. Apart from the contract money the footballers are cared for from all aspects.

Nabab explores job opportunities also frequently for his talented footballers who have represented Bengal. Murmu and Barman have been the latest example. It was Nabab's initiative that helped these two footballers appear for selection trials for Railways and finally ensure jobs. Murmu said, "There were around 22 footballers all over the country in the selection trial. I am thankful to Nabab sir. He is the guardian of all of us. He has been helping me since when I joined the team four years ago."

Even the footballers who have not yet obtained jobs and need the support of additional money after receiving contract money, Nabab provides jobs for them in his company. The club director revealed on the issue, "We have several potential footballers who are in dire financial distress. They struggle even after receiving contracted money. I try to provide jobs for them in my company." Additionally, if any footballer suffers from severe injury and if he needs an operation, Nabab bears the whole expenditure.

Even following Nabab's initiative, United SC has appointed a qualified and experienced English teacher, Biman Chattopadhyay for his footballers to learn the language. Biman Chattopadhyay, a former teacher of Durgapur Women's College also appreciated Nabab's initiative and opined, “Most of the footballers come from remotest villages, and due to their financial crunch most of them are not able to continue their studies.”

He added, "But these footballers need to learn the language. Otherwise, they will not be able to talk or understand when they will travel abroad with the national team. Even, it will be easy for them to understand what their Belgian coach is advising."
