Narahari strikes in 10 seconds; a reflection of training three-touch-goal

Diamond Harbour FC has already qualified for the ‘Super Six’ stage of the ongoing CFL Premier Division.

Narahari Srestha broke IM Vijayan’s 12-second strike, scoring a goal in 10 seconds in his team’s opening group league match of the I-League-3 at Naihati Stadium on Tuesday. 

Diamond Harbour FC started their campaign in the I-League-3 with a 3-0 victory against Gajiabad City FC. Jobby Justin and Girik Khosla scored the other goals for the winners.

DHFC coach Debraj Chatterjee while speaking revealed that he is especially happy with the reflection of practicing three-touch goal in the training in recent times. 

He explained, "The initiative starts from the custodian and then only three passes are played by the players before scoring. Our head coach Kibu Vicuna has been conducting this special practice every day in recent times and today it clicked.” 

Chatterjee also revealed that the boys' performance were good as they have been playing matches in the CFL Premier Division for the last few months and it created the combination.
