Five foul and one positive throw, Neeraj chopra won silver in Paris Olympic 2024. Neeraj failed to become the showstopper in the final day of Javelin throw. The Tokyo Olympic champion was the favourite one on this day. The crowd was chanting his name, but Neeraj could not make the mark. With 89.45, he finished second and took the silver medal for country.
Neeraj Chopra had qualified in final with highest point. He had crossed that mark in final stage, but that was not enough to beat Arshad Nadeem’s monster throw. Neeraj only made a positive throw on his second attempt among six chances, while Nadeem missed only one chance.
