An own goal from Mert Mulder sealed the Netherlands 2-1 victory over Turkey. Dutch forward Cody Gapko’s huge pressure forced Turkey defender to put through his own net before the 14 minutes of final whistle for the wining goal. Ronald Koeman’s side reached the Euro semi final after long 20 years. Now they will face England in last Four clash at Dortmund.

Turkish Defender Samet Akaydin had deservedly put them in front when he headed in Arda Guler’s flawless cross. In first half the Dutch brigade could not impressed their supporters. But they came back with a bang in second half of the match.

Turkey’s celebration did not last for long times, as Netherlands responded after the break and found an equalizer through Stefan De Vrij on 70th minute of the match. After this goal the Orange Army were increased their pressure on Turkish defence. Memphis Depay was in a aggressive mode at that moment. At last Netherlands found their second goal on 76th minute through an own goal from Mert Mulder.

Turkey, despite trailing they were not in mood to surrender in front of Orange Army. They Created many chances, but unfortunately could not capitalize them. Netherlands players fell to their knees with relief after referee blown the final whistle of the match.
