New Draw of Durand Cup announced; EB, MBSG to play in Jamshedpur and Shillong respectively

Bengaluru FC will meet Kerala Blasters at Yuba Bharati Krirangan on 23rd August.

Mohun Bagan Super Giants will face Punjab FC at JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur in the quarterfinal on 23rd August while East Bengal have been scheduled to play their quarter-final against Shillong Lajong in Shillong on 21st August. 

In the new draw, the Durand Cup organizers have slotted the matches of the outstation teams at Yuba Bharati Krirangan. Bengaluru FC will meet Kerala Blasters at Yuba Bharati Krirangan on 23rd August. 

The organizers conducted the draw through a video conference and announced the new fixture of the ongoing Durand Cup. 

Durand Cup kicked off on 27th July and is scheduled to end on 31st August. Following a continuous protest against the rape and murder of a trainee female doctor at RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata, the 'derby' between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan was canceled and the decision has been taken where Kolkata teams will have to play out of the city for the security measures.
