Manvir Singh’s 3rd-minute minute-strike went in vain as Odisha FC defeated Mohun Bagan Super Giants 2-1 in the first leg of the ISL semi-final at Kalinga Stadium., Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. 

Odisha FC remains undefeated in this ISL season at home It was Roy Krishna's goal that proved to be the difference. The teams will face each other on April 28 in the return leg with the aggregate score of 2-1 to OFC at the moment.

Mohun Bagan's attacks increased in numbers especially after Delgado handed the ball with his hand and the referee showed him a yellow card, his second one of the night, and he was sent off. 

MBSG also were down to 10 men in the 67th minute when Sadiku and Jahouh went for the ball in the air and the former fouled the Moroccan, who fell on the ground. The referee showed Sadiku his second yellow and he was also sent off.

Roy Krishna struck the decider in the 39th minute. He became Odisha FC’s highest goalscorer in a single season after scoring his side’s second goal during the semifinal leg one match against Mohun Bagan Super Giants.

After Manvir drew first blood for MBSG in the 3rd minute, the equalizer came off Delgado in the 11th minute.
