Mohun Bagan showcased an exceptional attacking performance throughout the game however, they got barred by the defence line of Odisha FC, settling for an equalised goal. 

Hugo Boumous, who was a crucial force for the Mariners last season, sealed the first goal for Odisha FC. The French player took the opportunity of a free kick and pushed an astonishing goal, successfully breaking the Mariners wall in just the fourth minute of the game. However, Manvir Singh, with a brilliant partnership with Dimitri Petratos, successfully equalised the score for the Mariners. 

Mohun Bagan is still occupying the second lead position in the ISL Chart with 14 points, whereas Odisha FC is in the 9th position with 9 points.
