Pegula And Sabalenka Face Off In US Open Finals

Pegula will face the world no. 2. Earlier, Aryna Sabalenka advanced into the second-year consecutive final after beating Emma Navarro.

The finalist for the Grand Slam has been chosen. Two worthy players entered their Grand Slam Finals. The fight is not just about the power, it's between the experience and persistence. Jessica Pegula with her terrific comeback match beat Karolina Muchova and all is set to enter her first final. Pegula scripted incredible sets against Muchova beating her in 1-6, 6-4, 6-2.

Pegula will face the world no. 2. Earlier, Aryna Sabalenka advanced into the second-year consecutive final after beating Emma Navarro.

Pegula was clearly overwhelmed after the victory against Muchova.

"I came out flat but she was playing unbelievable, she made me look like a beginner," Pegula said.

"I was about to burst into tears because it was embarrassing, she was destroying me. I don't know how I turned that around, honestly.”

Pegula is the home favourite, needless to say, Sabalenka will face strong home crowd support for New York-born Pegula on Saturday, but she is used to this, having playfully scolded the audience for backing Navarro previously.
