Pep Guardiola Places Haaland at par with Messi and Ronaldo

Haaland has scored 91 goals in 100 matches so far.

Erling Haaland's sensational skill is ultimately showing results, as the Norwegian’s scoring prowess is still astounding. Pep Guardiola, his legendary manager made it distinctly clear that he has been observing the same traits and elevating him to the equivalent calibre of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

In his 100th match for Manchester City, the Norwegian striker scored his incredible 91st goal, winning against Chelsea 2-0 on Sunday.

Guardiola was clearly exhilarated to see Haaland's incredible win. The Spanish coach lavished the Norwegian striker with praise. Praising his flawless consistency and drawing comparisons to players like Messi and Ronaldo.

Guardiola stated after the win over the Blues  - “He has the numbers for Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who controlled the last decade, 15 years, absolutely everything. In terms of numbers, it is that level. So, I don’t know how he does it, but in 100 games scoring 91 goals is something in the Premier League, in this country, is unbelievable,”.

He further continued - “The goal was magnificent. His contribution is in many things. He had two or three chances and always I had the feeling there is a gap to improve as a football player”.

After the win against Chelsea, Manchester City is now in fourth position.
