Diogo Costa’s golden hands saves Portugal and Earned them tickiet for quarter finals. Portuguese side beat Slovenia by penalty shoot out( 3-0 ). Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty miss to Jan oblak’s extraordinary saves, todays match was full pack of drama.  

From the beginning of the match Portugal holds all positions, but did not manage to goal. Slovenian goal keeper Jan oblak was the savior for them today. In 90 minutes game Ronaldo, Bernard Silva and others got too many chances, but all of them wasted. 

The result of the match at scheduled time was goal less. Then the match went into extra time. Portugal could win the match in first half of extra time, if Cristiano Ronaldo did not miss the penalty opportunity. Once again Jan Oblak was the savior for Slovenia. 

After misses that opportunity Ronaldo could not hide his tears and frustration on field. After a goal less extratime match went to penalty shootout and here D Costa played a pivotal role for Portugal . 24 years old Diogo Costa showed his classic performance and saved all three of slovenia’s effort.
