Delhi Capitals are out of IPL 2023 following a 31-run defeat at the hands of Punjab Kings on Saturday. In reply to Punjab's 167 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs, Delhi innings collapsed to 136, losing eight wickets. 

Prabhsimran Singh's 103 of 65 deliveries steered Punjab to build up the innings despite the fact he did not get much support from teammates. Sam Curran was the second highest scorer of Punjab with only 20 runs off 24 balls. 

In response, David Warner started in style, exhibiting in devastating mood and it seemed Delhi would not have to struggle to reach the target. But it was Harpreet Brar's superb delivery that compelled in-form Warner to return to pavilion at 54 off only 27 deliveries. After Warner's departure none of Delhi Capitals batsmen could resist Harpreet Brar's outstanding bowling who finally scalped four wickets at the cost of 30 runs in his four overs.
