Punjab FC secured a hard-fought victory of 2-1 against Odisha FC, on Friday. The thrilling match today started with a foul from Odisha FC's Isak Ralte in the second minute of the game. 

Nihal Sudeesh took the early lead for the Punjab FC in the 28th minute when he scored a stunning long-range strike with the help of a brilliant pass from his teammate, Amrinde’s full stretch attempt but couldn’t prevent the goal. 

After the second half Punjab FC sealed their win when Leon Augustine, caught the ball from the midfield and scored another for Punjab at 89 minutes.

Odisha FC narrowed the goal margin with a late strike from Ravi Kumar in the 96th minute. However, Punjab FC's early lead proved to be insurmountable, securing their victory. 

Punjab FC controlled the match, consistently creating scoring chances and putting pressure on the Odisha FC defense, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.
