Sikandar Raza scored a fighting 57 runs while Punjab Kings chased the target of 160 runs set by LSG at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Although Charak, Wood, and Bishnoi shared two wickets each that was not enough to stop Punjab’s win.
During LSG innings Sam Curran and Rabada of Punjab bagged two wickets each. KL Rahul scored 74 (56) but did not get any support from fellow batters. During his innings, Rahul became the fastest batsman to score 4000 IPL runs. Punjab skipper Shikhar Dhawan stood out of the match following a shoulder injury Curran the stand-in-captain won the toss and elected to bowl first.
