Punjab Kings made a nail-bite finish winning their match against CSK at the MA Chidambaram Stadium today. M. S. Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first. Opener Devon Conway made a sensational unbeaten 92 packed with 16 fours and a six in 52 balls. Gaikwad (37) and Dube (28) made useful contributions. MS Dhoni (13*) slammed two sixes in the last two balls. CSK made a challenging score of 200/4.
Punjab crossed the target in the last ball reaching 201 and loosing 6 wickets. Opener Prabhsimran Singh top scored 42 off 24 balls. He with captain Dhawan put on a 50-run partnership in the first wicket. while Livingstone scored 40. Sam Curran also contributed 28 off 20 balls. Among the CSK bowlers, Deshpande bagged 3 wickets and Jadeja 2 wickets.
