Rahul Dravid’s Son Samit Dravid Selected for U-19 against Australia

Samit, the all-rounder, is presently in Bengaluru playing for the Mysore Warriors in the KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy.

Cricket is in the blood of the Dravid family. Samit Dravid, the son of former Indian captain and coach  Rahul Dravid has been called up for the Under-19 series against Australia. The younger Dravid is qualified for both the one-day and four-day series. 

Samit, the all-rounder, is presently in Bengaluru playing for the Mysore Warriors in the KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy. 

India U-19 one-day series is scheduled to happen on 21, 23 and 26 September in Puducherry, these three matches will be led by Uttar Pradesh's promising player Mohd Amaan. 

After the one-day series the four-day matches will move to Chennai on September 30 and October 7, Soham Patwardhan of Madhya Pradesh will take captaincy for this match. 

Samit's performance in Maharaja T20 was not very impressive throughout the seven innings, he scored 82 runs with the highest of the tournament being 33 against  Gulbarga Mystics, his pace bowling is yet to be disclosed.
