Mohit Sharma marked his return to IPL with an excellent figure of 2/18, here at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, as holder Gujrat Titans restricted Punjab to a score of 153/8 in 20 overs. Shubman Gill made a classic 64 off 49 balls while Wriddhiman Saha kept the scoreboard rolling till he was out after scoring a dazzling 30 runs off 19balls and at the end, Tewatia kept his nerves to wrap up the game in the final over thriller when he pulled a boundary to get the Titans another win. 
Earlier GT won the toss and put Punjab to bat. The visitors showed some brilliant bowling and the home team was restricted to 153 runs losing 8 wickets. Shikhar Dhawan failed to make an impact and only Matthew Short managed to score a handsome run assisted by Shahrukh Khan.
