India were bowled out for 266 in 48.5 overs.
India struggled against Pakistan's pacers but a 138-run stand between Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan helped them recover from the early salvo from Shaheen Afridi and Co. Ishan Kishan scored his fourth consecutive ODI half-century and seemed to start cramping towards the end of his innings. He hence looked to switch gears which led to him falling to Haris Rauf on 82 off 81.
Pandya soldiered on but missed out on a maiden ODI century, falling to Afridi on 87 off 90. Afridi and Naseem Shah returned towards the end of the innings to take another flurry of wickets and India eventually were all out for 266 in 48.5 overs. Afridi ended with figures of 4 for 35 while Naseem and Rauf took three each.
Just as the players left the field, rain started coming down and it only intensified. Eventually the ground staff covered up the entire ground and it means that Pakistan's chase is set to get off to a delayed start.
The showers eased up and an inspection took place at 9pm. The Indian bowlers also made their way down as the covers were taken off the ground entirely. It looked like play could resume any moment but the rains returned. With them came back the covers and the Pakistani chase has been delayed even further.
