The former U-17 Uruguayan international has spent most of his professional career in his home country. His recruitment is expected to bring the Uruguayan fighting spirit to the club as they look to build upon their great start.

Cabrera has formidable experience in club football, representing renowned Argentine club River Plate and Racing FC.

Currently sitting sixth in the I-League standings, the club has had a better start in the 2024-25 campaign as they look to make a push for the promotion spots.

While the summer signing of Spanish striker Gerard Artigas has clicked so far Cabrera is likely to bolster the team and bring excitement in the League.

Cabrera has also a typical aggressive attitude like Uruguayan footballers on the pitch like the legendary Uruguayan Luis Suarez. Cabrera also gathered six yellow cards last season in the Liga AUF last season.
