Ravi disclosed while speaking over the phone from Hyderabad, "I am elated with my mother and wife's happiness due to my success. I have come a long struggling and painful way and my mother and wife have made a huge contribution to my journey so far. So I dedicate this award to my parents and wife."

One of Indian football’s all-time great strikers Shabbir Ali even was impressed to have watched Ravi’s potential in the competition. Ravi was played as a single striker in the final. Shabbir also was lethal while playing as a single striker in his time.

The Dhyan Chand awardee said while speaking over the phone from Hyderabad, "Ravi is very promising. He exhibited beautifully playing as a single striker. His ability to cover the opposition defenders inside the box before scoring the winner was impressive. I noticed Ravi has another advantage he roams a lot around the ground, even falls back if needed."

Ravi gave credit to Sanjoy Sen for his consistency explaining, “Sanjoy sir has a great ability to motivate. We were mentally charged throughout the competition.”

Simultaneously, Bengal's top scorer with 12 goals also remembered his present club coach Biswajit Bhattacharya, the former India international and one of the prolific strikers of his time. “Biswajit sir was a renowned striker in his playing days. It helped me to grow up as a matured striker at Customs. Biswajit sir also explained me the basic skills and technique a striker must need to learn. He is also superb in motivating the footballers.”

he continued, "I also noticed that there is a similarity between Biswajit sir and Sanjoy sir in coaching style, especially motivating the players. Both coaches have commonness that they set focus on the players’ discipline and psychological strength," explained Ravi who became Custom's top scorer in the CFL Premier Division in 2024, scoring nine goals.

Ravi also mentioned that among the 12 goals he scored in Santosh Trophy the winning goal against Odisha and the goal in final were most memorable.
