Rehan Ahmed stopped from entering India for visa issue

The England star was held at Hirasar airport for carrying a single-entry visa.

Ahmed and the other members of the England cricket team spent the 10-day break between the second and third test in Abu Dhabi before returning to India. As per regulations, a person holding a single-entry visa is not allowed to exit and re-enter the country. Teammate Shoaib Bashir also faced the same problem earlier this month.

The local authorities were able to grant Ahmed a 2-day visa for a short-term solution. However, the England camp has been advised to solve the issue in the next couple of days. The rest of the 31 members and staff of the Three Lions did not have any trouble with their visas. The team reached their hotel in Rajkot by Monday evening. Rehan, though, will be appearing in practice on Tuesday.
