Rohit mobbed by crazy fans in Canberra; might bat in the middle-order in Adelaide

Significantly, Rohit’s batting-order in the ongoing warm-up match against Prime Minister’s XI at Manuka Oval, Canberra has been slotted at number five.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma received an uproarious response from the crazy fans during the training session in Canberra ahead of the warm-up game against the Australian Prime Minister's XI. Rohit was going to practice some eager fans surrounded him and asked him for photos and autographs.

The incident elicited a hilarious response from Rohit Sharma who asked a fan to wait for his turn as he was attending to a previous request. Rohit was asked by the said fan for a selfie. While he was giving an autograph on a cricket ball, the constant haggling had Rohit slightly irritated. The captain responded to the fan, asking him to wait for his turn.

“Ek time par ek hi kaam ho sakta hai. (Only one task can be done at a time)," Rohit Sharma said.

Significantly, Rohit’s batting-order in the ongoing warm-up match against Prime Minister’s XI at Manuka Oval, Canberra has been slotted at number five. Questions have come up about whether the Indian skipper will go down to the middle-order in the forthcoming pink-ball second Test at Adelaide starting on 6th December.

A possible reason for this could be that India wants to keep KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal as openers. They performed well in Perth during Rohit Sharma’s absence in the first test. Rohit missed that match due to the birth of his second child, and Jasprit Bumrah captained in his place. Rahul and Jaiswal exhibited a brilliant partnership in the first Test in Perth.
