India finished the Afghanistan T20 series winning by 3 – 0. The last match was a thriller when Super Super over was played before India won. 

In the match Indian skipper Rohit Sharma had a 190 runs partnership with Rinku Singh. After the game Rohit said, “Creating the partnership was important and we kept talking to each other not to lose that intent in big games and it was a good game for us.” The captain praised Rinku and said that he is very calm and he is producing what is expected from him on the field. Rohit Sharma feels that presence of such a batter makes a team comfortable while moving forward. “The last couple of series Rinku played he showed what he can do with the bat” said Rohit. He further said that the team wanted a player like this at the backend. Everybody knows what he has done in IPL and now Rinku has continued the same for his country. In the 15 games and 11 innings in T20’s for India, Rinku has scored 356 runs at an average of 89.0 and strike rate 176. Rinku has already made a name as a finisher.
